My journey into my moving camera art started by looking up into the branches of trees in a forest. I was immediately hooked by the wonderful textures that were created if I spun my camera around. They seemed to animate the branches and capture my excitement and wonder at just looking up at them. This is one such image.
People rushing every which way past others just standing and waiting all enveloped in a cacophony of sounds and smells. This is what Waterloo Station feels like to me standing looking down at the platform. It’s amazing and I could stand there for hours just taking it in.
This one tree had turned an amazing colour and I wanted to capture it’s vibrancy against the sky. In this shot that I moved the camera around the tree in an arc keeping the tree at the centre of the circle. I was thrilled when I saw the result where the leaves seem to be spinning around the trunk like “Orbiting Fire”
